Valley of Roses trek in 3 day

The southern side of the Atlas Mountains is in the direction of the Sahara desert and lures with the charms of the desert: ocher-colored reliefs and red indentations of large rivers that are fed by the snow melt every spring. Because of the water live here people and wonderful gardens surrounded great buildings from earth. We discover a mineral universe and a small paradise where we always find the hospitality of the Berbers.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech | Tichka Pass | Ouarzazat | Skoura | Kelaa M'Gouna | Talmout about 5 hours drive and 1½ hours walk
Departure by minibus towards Tichka Pass and Ouarzazate. Lunch at the restaurant in Ouarzazate. Then continue towards Skoura and Kelaa M'Gouna. Start of our hike up the river of M'Goun to the village of Ait Khyar. Dinner and overnight at a Kasbah Guest house in M'Goun Valley.

Day 2: Talmout Ait Gmat | Tabrkhacht | Boutghrar | Tamglouna about 5 ½ hour hike and ½ hour drive
After breakfast we hike up the riverbed of M'Goun. We cross different fields and also discover several villages (Talmout, Ait Gmat, Tabrkhacht). After 3 hours we meet the minibus, which takes us to the village of Boutghrar via Ifar, Hdida and Timstiguite. Arrival for lunch. Reference to the hostel in Boutghrar. Then transfer to Znag and Tamglouna for a small hike into the beautiful valley valley. Return to Boutghrar for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Boutghrar | Kelaa M'gouna | Ouarzazat | Ait Benhaddou | Telouet | Tichka Pass | Marrakech
After breakfast, return to Ouarzazat on the same route. Afterwards we continue to the ancient village of Ait Benhaddou, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit and lunch. Afterwards we reach the L'Ounila valley in the direction of Telouet over old caravane roads and finally reach Marrakech in the late afternoon via the Tichka Pass.
